For Professionals

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my practice is supervising other therapists, particularly in the areas of eating disorders and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. You will find that I have an unusual perspective on eating disorders, including what fosters and perpetuates their development, how to recognize and understand them, and how to treat the people who suffer them and those who care for and about them.

Supervision is available in individual or group settings.

If you are interested in a copy of my paper, "The Perseverant Personality: A Pre-attachment Perspective on the Etiology and Evolution of Binge/Purge Eating Disorders," published in Psychoanalytic Dialogues (2007), please feel free to contact me. I also hope you will find my new book "Hunger for Connection: Finding Meaning in Eating Disorders," due for release by Routledge in January, 2018, helpful, and will let me know what you think!

I welcome your inquiries!
